The remainder of the cast and crew were unable to join us. Leaynne
Connolly's daughter was in the hospital and we were very fortunate that
she was able to perform. The remaining cast and crew we also the

In addition to the usual widelife (mother and father goose with their
goslings; chipmunks; groundhogs and baby groundhogs; we were treated to
one of nature's beautiful side. The mother snapping turtle below
and climbed a long way (for her) and up a steep hill to the sandy area
beside the road in front of Sports Villas. There, just to the east of
Sports Villa #51, she burrowed a hole and laid eggs (which we
witnessed). Those pictures are on our cells phones to be uploaded
later. Below, having finished her task, mother turtle is covering
up the nest.
Apparently, nesting is prevalent in June and July and after the next
basking in the sun for the summer, 2-3 months later in the fall the eggs
will hatch. The baby turtles will emerge and find their way to
water which is always downhill. |
