H&S Training

The Annual H&S Training for 2010 is now underway in all Regions. If your company requires employees trained, please contact the MIAO office. [Added April 1^st, 2010]

SAM 2010

NEW WAGE TABLES IMPORTANT

As you know by now, the new ICI Agreement was ratified by both Local 95 and MIA in June and the subsequent Preliminary new wage tables effective June 26^th were originally emailed to all Active Members on June 25^th with a subsequent email on June 28^th for Revision 1. For clarification of which zone you are located in, please refer to the Old ICI Agreement, Article 1.05.

The new agreement is currently being prepared and will be mailed when it has been finalized. In the meantime, please refer to the MoS (Memorandum of Settlement) dated May 20^th, 2010 that was emailed May 20^th.

APPROVED Insulators and Asbestos Removers Upgrade Lists IMPORTANT

The latest list for approved upgrades effective July 1^st, 2010 was emailed to all Active Members on June 30^th. If you did not receive a copy, please contact Malcolm Haylock, Manager manager@miaontario.org or at 905-279-6426 and provide either your fax number or email address. [Revised July 10^th, 2010]

Annual General Meeting 2011

With the addition of the Family Day statutory holiday in February, the Association has decided to move the AGM out by one week. Starting in 2011, the AGM will be held the 4^th Thursday of February (February 24^th in 2011). [Added March 31^st, 2010]
